Empathy contacts list is almost always empty even though when I log into the online services (Facebook, Google etc.) there are usually several people logged in on each.

This also happens with me..No online contacts. In fact, the whole integration with "online accounts" seems to be very disjointed. I can never tell of an account is connected or not. Every time I start my computer I get the "An online account needs your attention message" but when I open online accounts I do not see anything available.
Not sure what is happening. I feel lost and confused..
