Bug Description

Bug found in raring (empathy 3.6.3)

Reproducible: always

Empathy asks for authorization for my Google Talk and Jabber account, when I click on the 'planet + keys' icon, I'm redirected to the 'Online accounts' settings that show my Google account as active.

This still affects me on raring. Using the latest empathy:
Architecture: amd64
Version: 3.6.4-0ubuntu4

Various accounts show up at the top of the Empathy contact list with the message "<account> account requires authorisation". I click on the planet/key icon, it opens up the account settings but everything is active (no action needs to be taken), and then the message in Empathy disappears. I've seen the message appear for Google, Facebook and Windows Live accounts.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
