empathy-chat crashes when opening a window for a specific contact

every time i open a chat window for a specific contact, empathy crashes.

for some reason, apport doesn't send the crash report, but silently exits, so attaching the /var/crash file to this manually filed bug

1) can you reproduce this bug ?
2) if so than please define the steps to reproduce it ?
 check that your system must be up to date

yes i can reproduce this 100% of the time by trying to open a window for a specific client, with latest up to date system

probably not, is probably data dependent.

if so than please report the bug when the apport mention it on your system here we can get the info we required.i am closing this bug please feel free if you get this bug again and please do me a favour report it when apport mention it on your system or where you have got this file usr........ empathy-chat crash open this file with apport you will get the steps to send it to launchpad that will be a suitable way

yes it still happens every time. I cannot report via apport as reported above, the window never opens, even if i apport the crash file explicitly. the .crash file is attached above.
