Empathy can't change timestamp format

Empathy can't change the timestamp format. The timestamping is broken for most of the themes. The chat window displays the characters like "%H:%M" instead of the timestamp.

is there a specific theme that show this behaviour with the empathy or any thing you can provide more info about it ??

It's listed as a "Perfect" Empathy theme, but the timestamp doesn't show up.

Download theme from http://www.adiumxtras.com/download/4499

Install theme folder into ~/.local/share/adium/message-styles

Open Empathy settings and switch theme

i guess these themes were not supported by ubuntu let me have search on it and than i will back to you.
