Binary package hint: emesene
It seems that emesene does not test the capabilities of the notify daemon. This result is that some bubble are rendered as plain gtk dialogs

emesene 1.x is not supported anymore. Please use emesene 2, which is available in from the standard repositories since Natty, or from our ppa:
