Bug Description
Binary package hint: emacs23
Hello,
despite the fact that the dictionaries-common package is installed on my system, only two dictionaries (en, american) show up in emacs23 when I do
M-x ispell-
I don't have the same problem when launching an emacs that I compiled myself.

After some research I found a solution to the problem:
(setq ispell-program-name "aspell")
why aspell is not the default in emacs23?
