Bug Description

Binary package hint: emacs-snapshot

Calling "copy-region-as-kill" causes emacs to quit:

: aw; emacs -q
X protocol error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) on protocol request 18
: aw;

In emacs, I selected a small chunk of text using the keyboard and then typed:
M-x copy-region-as-kill.

The problem doesn't occur with "emacs -nw -q" (not so surprising, given that it's an
X protocol error).

Window manager is awesome 2.3.4-1.

This is caused by an application (xcb) adding UTF8_STRING typed cut buffer properties. Emacs attempts
to rotate such properties and fails.
