Bug Description

Whenever I customize my colors in emacs, my modeline is reset to navyblue. With a black foreground, that's annoying. I found the culprit. /usr/share/emacs/site-list/emacs-extra/emacs-extra.el contains a custom-set-faces section that sets this and seems to override whatever I set using M-x customize-face. The only way to fix this is to go into my .emacs file and manually change this setting, but this will get overridden the next time I customize any of my faces with M-x customize-face again.

I believe that this (custom-set-faces ...) block in emacs-extra.el should simply not be there at all.
