elilo read failed

I want to install ubuntu-9.10-server-ia64.iso on a HP-Itanium Server.
After connecting the EFI Shell via telnet I've done the following steps:

- map
- fs0:
- elilo linux

And here it spits out that error:

ELILO
Uncompressing Linux... gzip.c(line 602):gzip_ia64 : elilo: Read failed
Exit status code: Load Error

Then i tryed
- Boot Maintenance Manager
- Boot from File
- Ubuntu Inst [Acpi(HWP0002,0)/Pci(2|0)/Ata(Primary,Master)/CDROM
- elilo.efi

or
- efi\boot\bootia64.efi

Both put out this failure:

gzip.c(line 602):gzip_ia64 : elilo: Read failed
Exit status code: Load Error

after that tryed:
- Boot Maintenance Manager
- [Treat like Removable Media Boot]

now the error is:

7 0 0x000066 0x0000000000000018 trap taken, number in ext PE
7 0 0x00003C 0x0000000000005400 trap taken, offset in ext PE
