I can confirm the issue in 12.04 LTS. All buttons in the accounts dialog are disabled. There's no way in fact to add SIP account what makes ekiga completely useless. Please see attached screenshot.

Press F10 on account window (go to top menu), you will see entry Add SIP, h323 account.

Sergey, thank you for suggestion, but I think that how far it is from modern usability standards & how ubuntu try to position itself on the market still allows to call that "feature" a bug.

I was having the same problem. I think there is a serious usability problem here.
Just to make it clear, you have to open the Accounts window. There is no button to add an account there, you have to find it in the (hidden) menu of that window.

What is the problem here? Is that the menu is not easily visible? Or that on some machines it is not shown?!

That it is not easily visible, you see 4 disabled buttons and you expect having 5th one "Add" in the same place. Not in the menu, which is hidden by default under unity due to how unity's single menubar on top of the screen works. When you look on gnome apps, which are kind of standard, you really don't expect such functionality to be in the menu if you open a modal window.

I had to maximize the "Accounts" window fullscreen so as to be able to access the menu option (and maybe also press F10, i'm not sure if that was usefull).
