Bug Description

Binary package hint: ekiga

I am running Ekiga 3.2.5 on an amd64 Kubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala), fully updated to KDE 4.4 as of tonight, 2/10/2010. For several months, on various occasions, I have added contacts but they refuse to show in the contact list. If I attempt to add one again a dialog pops up saying that it is already in the list. However, the contact list displays only the "Conference Room" and the "Echo Test".

This evening I installed Ekiga 3.2.5 on an amd64 Kubuntu 10.4 beta (Lucid Lynx) and the added contacts DID appear in the contact list.

So, for me, it is a no-go on Karmic but a go on Lucid.

It was my error, not Ekiga's.
If one wants to see off line contacts on the contact list they must check that option box in the Edit --> Preferences --> General Settings dialog.

This is probably because offline contacts wre NOT shown by default. I changed the default value to SHOW by default 1-2 years ago. So closing this bug, please reopen if there is a bug.
