Bug Description

If I enter a password containing a '|' (pipe) character into the password field in the Edit|Accounts Properties box, when I close then re-enter the properties box, the password has been truncated. The truncated password is shown only as dots, of course, but the number is equal to the number of characters before the '|' in the original password.

This is clearly a bug - you can't connect to a SIP account with a password containing '|'. Worse, it suggests the possibility that the password is somewhere being passed to a shell, or something for which '|' is a control character.

I believe I only started playing with ekiga after installing intrepid, so yes.

However, I can't check to be sure since ekiga.net have just changed a bunch of stuff and I can't change my SIP account password atm.
