Ekiga-gtkonly will not open ports in Xubuntu

Binary package hint: ekiga-gtkonly

When launch ekiga-gtkonly in Xubuntu 8.04 a list of errors appear in the terminal along with two dialog boxes stating that it cannot open the ports necessary for H.323 & SIP.

If I install the full ekiga client (which brings in additional libraries and services such as evolution which I do not want) it functions correctly.

Error while starting the listener for the SIP protocol
You will not be able to receive incoming SIP calls. Please check that no other program is already running on the port used by Ekiga.

Dialog 2
Error while starting the listener for the H.323 protocol
You will not be able to receive incoming H.323 calls. Please check that no other program is already running on the port used by Ekiga.

sudo aptitude install ekiga-snapshot-gtkonly

for me it worked to fix the "listener" errors to move /etc/ekiga-gtkonly/ekiga-gtkonly.schemas to /etc/ekiga/ekiga.schemas.

Still ekiga-gtkonly can't make a call by a third party account, but with same settings ekiga can. (I am talking about official ubuntu 8.04 packages.)

ekiga-gtkonly was dropped in 2.0.12-1+nmu1ubuntu1 so i'm setting this bug to won't fix.
