Looking at bug #1066196 (Typo in package description eigen2-doc)
we discovered that eigen2 has been removed in Debian in 2014 and replaced with eigen3 (Wrapper).
Apart from the the fact that unmaintained packages may/can initiate security-holes we don't see a reason why it should be kept in newer versions of Ubuntu.
Further details see comments #4, 5 in mentioned bug #10066196
Thanks in advance |
