Bug Description
When upgrading my 12.04 system to libc6 2.15-0ubuntu2 via update-manager, I got a debconf prompt that asked me whether services should be restarted. I answered 'yes'. A second or so later I got another debconf dialog that said that gdm failed to restart (see attached screenshot).
Dialog text:
"The following services could not be restarted for the GNU libc library upgrade:
gdm
You will need to start these services manually by running '/etc/init.
(Not sure if this should go under gdm since that's where the failure is or libc since that's what triggered the failure)
