Bug Description

I want to make backports of armel cross compiler for lucid and maverick releases. To do that I need to have eglibc-source package available so PPA will be possible to use. But I can not provide other packages because I do not want to provide backports of toolchain components (especially libraries).

Attached patch adds SOURCE_ONLY variable which disables building of any packages other then eglibc-source.

For backports I would also have to lower build-dependencies but thats not part of this bug and can be done in other way.

first hunk of patch is not to be merged - it shows how I will enable this for PPA builds.

This patch adds BACKPORT variable support.

This patch renames eglibc-source to eglibc-2.12.1-source. Changes are not inside of "if BACKPORT" blocks as it also alters control file.

I can keep this patch as part of eglibc patchset in armel-cross-toolchain-base or add checks for BACKPORT variable (but no idea how to also handle control file).

I have test PPA where this patch is used. There is no need to merge it into Ubuntu archive as there is no gain from it.

closing as invalid - as this was only needed for backport PPA I can handle patching on my own
