GLIBC update breaks Folding@Home

Bug #574726: Lucid official release 10.04/64-bit Desktop: 64-bit Folding@home client 2.69 crashes in terminal with:relocation error: /lib/libnss_files.so.2: symbol __rawmemchr, version GLIBC_2.2.5 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference.

Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
Release: 10.04
when attempting to start Folding@Home 6.24r3 SMP it halts with the following error:
relocation error: /lib/libnss_

I marked it as an eglibc bug, but it may be actually be a bug in folding@home.
