The bug is easily reproducible: just want to send with Efax-gtk a file
to open office 3.0 writer im ubuntu 9.04, with preview shows and get the
bug! At this point it is impossible to even send the fax. Evince and
other similar programs do not open the file.
Only by exporting the file in . Pdf and after putting it into another
folder, you can proceed to the fax.
A real hassle and waste of time.
Thank you for your willingness.
9.04 Jaunthy Jackalope is already great, are really very few people like
me to have encountered this bug!
  Warm Greetings

Changed in evince (Ubuntu):
status: Invalid → Incomplete

Stefano, I'm a bit confused by your description.
Do you use the efax extension inside OpenOffice.org? How is this issue related to evince?

I have been able to reproduce this by opening the efax-gtk interface and giving it an openoffice document... So this would then be an efax bug...

Please clarify. Thank you

I too am confused.
I believe that they can not understand me, but the problem exits. Will
mean that to send a file via fax writer use fax console from Xp and
Office 2003 running perfectly.
Obviously the problem is bigger than me ...
Warm greetings and thanks.

I get the same error message just trying sending a fax.
In the occasion I am sending a "multiple file" fax collecting jpg files.
