Mr. Lowe:
  I would agree with this assessment.  I would maybe classify this issue as
unexpected behavior for an uninformed installer since there was nothing that
would have made me think that the face browser was not available with the
Edubuntu theme.  A good feature could be to have the login screens that are
unavailable for Edubuntu to turn grey and not be selectable or something
like that if the Edubuntu theme is used.
I am happy with the plain login screen with the user names that I am now
using and as I said I customized it to give an Edubuntu feel.  I really
appreciate your help on this matter.
