Please sync edid-decode 0.1~git20140128.afcf2a2e-1 (universe) from Debian unsta$

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * The package depends on debhelper >= 7; hence, set debian/compat to "7"
  * Call dh_installchangelogs (LP: #684954)
  * Remove the Uploaders field, it's not needed
Package is now maintained in debian instead of ubuntu

Utopic still have that oldish version from 2010 (natty). That package has been updated recently (git).

@Daniel
please set importance to 'medium' instead of 'wishlist' to grab a better chance to get an upgrade asap. Having to tweak a wrong system's settings due to that oldish package is not serious.

The latest edid-decode at http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/app/edid-decode/ is much newer than the Ubuntu version. The Ubuntu version cannot decode HDMI audio information, while the version from xorg can. The Ubuntu version also lists some HD resolutions incorrectly.

As the latest Git snapshot of edid-decode is now packaged for Debian, I hope this issue will soon be resolved in Ubuntu too.
