Bug Description

Binary package hint: ecryptfs-utils

Since many of us use Automatic Login to load the whole desktop unattended but enable Lock Session feature so the session is locked from the start, it would be nice if the Private folder feature would work with such setup.

User case:

1. Automatic Login + Lock Session
2. Once the user introduces its password to unlock the session the Private folder is also unlocked

In fact, I wouldn't mind so much if I had to enter the password twice in a row, so it does not need to be any relation between "Lock session" and "Private folder" but only between automatic login and the Private folder.

Hmm, actually that sounds reasonable. I won't have time to work on this, but it does sound like a reasonable feature request. Thanks for the idea.

Note that this would only work with encrypted-private, but not encrypted- home.
