Bug Description

System details: Ubuntu 16.04 amd64 on a MacBook4,1 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz 2 GiB RAM
Broadcom card: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (5.10.131.42.4)

Tried a clean-install for Ubuntu 16.04 but this time it was impossible to use nor activate the Broadcom wireless card after installation. No driver got installed, no way to get WiFi working (this didn't happen with previous versions of the system).

Just changed the affected package since it was incorrectly set to ecryptfs. Affected package is ubiquity installer.
