Bug Description

Binary package hint: eclipse

Hi,

I just installed eclipse on kubuntu and found that the start script /usr/bin/eclipse tries to use kdialog if others are not present.

However kdialog does not support the same arguments as the other dialog programs and then eclipse does not start.

An example is kdialog does not support "--warning" (about line 140), but rather I changed it to "--warningcontinuecancel" and removed the "--text=" and changed it around a bit and it works.

As a good workaround I changed the KDE menu to open up /usr/lib/eclipse/eclipse instead of the /usr/bin/eclipse script.

Jeff
