Bug Description
Hi !
I just installed Ubuntu 10.04 and I noticed that you added a resize triangle, but it is present on Eclipse splashscreen (version 3.6, downloaded from site). See the screenshot.
On a Qt application using a SplashScreen (QSplashScreen class) as on LibreOffice, there seem to be no such triangle.

the issue is gtk adding a resize grip on the window, so the fix, I believe would be that eclipse blacklist that.
