Bug Description

Binary package hint: eclipse

Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS

Package: eclipse 3.5.2-2ubuntu4.2

This is a feature request. The eclipse package does not include an XML editor by default. However, the package "Eclipse IDE for Java Developers", for example, downloaded directly from eclipse.org (http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-developers/heliosr), does include the XML editor. The XML editor is part of the "Web Tools Platform" (WTP) (http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/). To get the XML editor in the version of eclipse distributed in the Ubuntu releases, one must install it manually.
