Eclipse hangs on startup

Binary package hint: eclipse

Since the latest series of lucid updates, Eclipse no longer starts. I tried removing .eclipse in my homedir, but it made no difference. Starting from the terminal also does not yield any useful output.

Same here, after a dist-upgrade today which included Eclipse 3.5.2 the UI hangs. I get further - the workbench loads OK but after a short period of scrolling around it just hangs. Nothing useful in the logs.

Seems much more stable when I launch eclipse with xulrunner 1.9.3:

eclipse -vmargs -Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.XULRunnerPath=/usr/bin/xulrunner-1.9.3
