crashed when opening a folder

Bug Description

The first time it read a folder there were no issues.After the crash no problems yet except that there used to be a bar on upper part of program allowing to rename all files according to something like %title% and now it's gone and I don't know how to have it again.

Lubuntu 14.04/10 (I've run do-release-upgrade -d) all uptodate including lataest bios.
AMD Venice 3000+ cpu.
K8T-FSR motherboard,.
