Bug Description

Binary package hint: easystroke

Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Cando 11.6 id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad id=13 [slave pointer (2)]

I'm on a 1825 PT, Linux mini-mi 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:50 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

The easystroke can identify moves from the mouse, but not from touchscreen
I'm using timeout default, click 1, right now only with cando device selected.

Note: This behaviour cames after an update. before the updates this all was working with the same config.

If you need more debug, tell me.

Same here with an Acer T230H touch screen.
Tried all kinds of configuration, there is but no reaction at all. However, uTouch + Touchegg works fine.
Maybe this is uTouch-related?

Same problem on my Acer 1825ptz laptop with touchscreen and on my HP TouchPad Arm tablet.
It worked on both until an update.

My guess would be that utouch interferes with easystroke. I can't test this, though since the wacom driver does not send multitouch events to the X server.

Is this still an issue in quantal?

I, as well, want touchscreen and touchpad gestures but I think it's up to easystroke to enable this. A gesture is somehow different than pressing a button and making a gesture. There is no pressing button involved.
