Bug Description
Binary package hint: dvgrab
Plug the camera with a cassette, and leave it ready to work.
Execute dvgrab:
sudo dvgrab -rewind -s 2000 foo-1-
All is ok.
Cassette finishes. Change the cassette, run almost the same command:
sudo dvgrab -rewind -s 2000 foo-2-
And I get the following error:
rom1394_0 warning: read failed: 0x0000fffff0000414
error reading config rom directory for node 0
rom1394_1 warning: read failed: 0x0000fffff0000414
error reading config rom directory for node 1
Error: no camera exists

I have a similar bug, I am capturing with a analog to DV with : ADS Tech Pyro A/V Link
After a capture, or after a few minutes idle, I can't capture again. This seems random as some times it works.
I have to unplug and replug the cable to make it work again. I once had to reboot to find the device again.
On ubuntu xenial kernel 4.4.0-22-generic.
