Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch)
Release: 9.10
dvdrip : 1:0.98.10-0.2ubuntu1

In "Basic Setting", if you enter directories with accents, dvdrip doesn't recognize them. Pressing the + button creates a new directory with bad characters. The system is in UTF8.

Could you confirm this on Lucid?

I can't confirm this on Karmic NBR, updated today, using de_DE.UTF-8 locale, creating a directory in Preferences dialog as well a new project directory using accented characters. Everything works like expected.

Probably your filesystem isn't capable of UTF-8 characters? I am using ext4 for all partitions.

I can't say for Lucid, I use OpenSuse now.
The partition was ext3 as I remember.
