Bug Description

Binary package hint: dvd+rw-tools

Since Ubuntu 9.1, which uses kernel v2.6.31, my internal SATA DVD burner (sr0) is not able to burn at correct speed. Seems that problem is in SATA controller driver - because my external USB DVD burner (sr1) works correctly - Both works correctly in Ubuntu 8.04.

vavrek@neov:~$ lsb_release -rd && apt-cache policy dvd+rw-tools && lspci | grep -i sata && dmesg | grep sr | grep -v usr && sdparm /dev/sr0 && hdparm -i /dev/sr0
