drbd will not start with given default global configuration

Install ubuntu 10.04 or 10.10, then add drbd8-utils. Configure two nodes.
Try to get them up using

drbdadm up node

watch the error message:

After solving the above error, by correcting a typo in /etc/drbd.d/global_common.conf:

AFAICT, the /etc/drbd.d/global_common.conf that ships in maverick does not contain any (enabled) on-io-error option, thus the default of pass_on applies.
