drbd will not start with given default global configuration

Bug Description
Install ubuntu 10.04 or 10.10, then add drbd8-utils. Configure two nodes.
Try to get them up using
drbdadm up node
watch the error message:

After solving the above error, by correcting a typo in /etc/drbd. d/global_ common. conf: /etc/drbd. d# mkfs -t ext4 /dev/drbd0
