Bug Description
Running 10.10 64-bit, apt and ubuntu software centre stopped updating or installing software. Trying to upgrade to 11.04 in case 10.10 support stopped and that may be the reason for apt not working any more.
Upgrading to 11.04 failed with the error shown in subject.
