Source package: don't know (happened while installing updates via Update Manager which were automatically prompted after initial install of OS)

Release: 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx

I expected the system to automatically install updates

Instead, after initially downloading some 220-odd packages, the system hung; upon restart, I got this error report (pasted in summary section: automatically generated)
