package libglu1-mesa 7.7.1-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: package libglu1-mesa is already installed and configured

I did the upgrade from the alternative CD ( from a USB drive).

various messages (including apt already installed ) were reported.

This package failed apparently on fork - insufficient memory.

My swap drive was not recognized, I had to reformat to add the 300 or so swap space.

WINE 1.2 also failed to upgrade -
