Bug Description

From the last few lines in the syslog generated during the netinstall of 20080903.1, it seems that there's some dependency which is not being met:

Sep 5 02:27:06 in-target: Setting up libqt4-script (4.4.1-0ubuntu2) ...
Sep 5 02:27:06 in-target:
Sep 5 02:27:06 in-target: dpkg: ../../src/packages.c:221: process_queue: Assertion `dependtry <= 4' failed.

This is causing the installation process to fail with a red screen stating that an installation step failed. I have attached the syslog for further information.

Both this and bug 262451 sound very similar to the old bug 46530.

I also encountered this problem after substituting dpkg_1.14.20ubuntu5_i386.deb from the alpha-4 image for dpkg_1.14.20ubuntu4_i386.deb in the 20080903.1 image and netinstalling again. So, it might be possible that the problem is not with dpkg but rather with some other package which might be misconfigured. I'm attaching the new syslog in case this might be useful information.

I just tried again with Alpha 5 and I get the same error message. I'm attaching the latest syslog again.

Where can I get a copy of the checkbox-* packages used in this installation?
