Ubuntu prompted I have a new version and asked if I wanted to install it. Then it crashed after I accepted.

Bug Description

Just after I installed Ubuntu and I was running sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade a "newer version prompt" appeared and asked if I wanted to install it which I accepted. And then it crashed
