Bug Description

Just installed Ubuntu 16 on an old Dell previously running Windows XP Home Edition. Deleted Windows and proceeded to become your newest Linux user. Runs okay except after shut down. Tried using Ubuntu Software for updates and had to end up using terminal to update. Had system error codes evey since.
