Bug Description

I tried to change graphical card driver, using Gnome System Settings > Software & updates > additional Drivers, from xserver-xorg-video-nouveau to NVIDIA.

After commiting this change, surprisingly, the driver was still the initial one !?

So I redo the same operation, and this time it succeed, but generating the current bug.

I suppose that things were partially done during the first attempt and completed by the second, but with errors due to the staff that was already performed during the first attempt.

Note that it it mandatory to change graphical driver when installing Ubuntu on ASUS desktop.

Anyway, great thanks for your OS : it is very nice to use it daily like I do !
