Bug Description
This error appeared when I was utilizing GDebi to install the .deb file I had downloaded (same day download) from atom.io. I performed the download of the .deb file, located the file in my downloads folder, right-clicked the file and chose to install using GDebi. GDebi opened, located the file and when I clicked "install" the process seemed to be working flawlessly and then hung about 1/4 to 1/2 way in and threw an error about this file. I canceled the installation, rebooted the machine and up on reboot received the error message and was prompted to report the error to you all here. I apologize if this is vague, and have re-routed the process by installing Atom from a PPA file on webupd8.
I am running a brand new install (from dban cleaned drive as of about 6 hours ago) of Ubuntu 16.04.
