Bug Description

In output in a 80 character terminal like

    > sudo dpkg -l deluge
    | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend
    |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
    ||/ Name Version Architecture Description
    rc deluge 2.0.0.dev705 all Deluge BitTorrent Client

it's impossible to tell whether the version column has been truncated or not. That's not very useful.
