Bug Description
Hi there
I've had Ubuntu 14.04 on this computer for ages now, but my hard-drive started to play up. so I tried loading the new Ubuntu on a new hard-drive, but it kept failing to install, so then I loaded 14.04 on the new drive and that worked. Then I followed the screen prompts to update to the new version (16?) and then the update could not be completed and this bug report happened. When I restarted the pc I had to use the recovery mode. I'm not too sure where to go now. I haven't had much experience at with software problems, so I rely on the forums etc to help solve my problems.
Cheers, Lawrence

Hi guys think I might have solved it by using the Ubuntu diagnostics and system check.
I can't actually remember what it was that did it in the end, but now it starts without having to do the system recovery thing.
