dpatch doesn't work in directories with spaces.

Which version of Ubuntu are you using? Is this still an issue? Maybe you just have to use the escape character before the space?

I think he means the case where the current directory contains a space, in which case there is obviously no way to escape it. This doesn't appear to have been fixed, although some limited cases (e.g. $HOME containing a space) have been.
