it just reported the system problem. Each time I tried to update any application or auto-remove, it was unable to take care of this package. thank you

Hi Tareq,

Unfortunately apport did not collect enough information to reveal what is causing dovecot to fail on the update. Can you record the output of running `systemctl status dovecot.service`?

You might also want to review if `journalctl -xe` is showing any errors relating to dovecot.
