Double Commander (doublecmd) crashes at start

After the latest upgrade (I don't think doublecmd was included in that upgrade, but I'm not sure, compiz was for sure, though), when I run double cmd, it crashes with this message:

Confirming. After recent Xenial updates, doublecmd gtk crashes on startup, doublecmd qt works fine.
On another machine, a few days behind in updates, the latest doublecmd gtk works fine.

Doublecmd gtk is working again for me after recent fontconfig 2.11.94-0ubuntu1 update.

Please confirm.
