Bug Description
Binary package hint: dosemu
On Ubuntu 10.04 and also 10.10 (beta) entering “dosemu -s” on the console crashes the entire system. The “-s” causes dosemu to run in superuser mode and thus gives you access to running graphical DOS applications like DOSSHELL and print-preview mode in WordPerfect 5.1.
The text on the console turns blue briefly but not long enough to see what it says. Then the screen goes blank. None of the usual key combinations (Ctrl+Alt+Del, Ctrl+Alt+F7, etc) seem to have any effect. The system is unresponsive. Only solution seems to be a hard shutdown (power off) and restart.
Daren.
PS: this worked on Ubuntu 9.10

DO you try with the stable version of dosemu 1.4.0 +svn.1828-2 in the
distribution debian.
I have try with this version on ubuntu 10.04 (32B and64B) and I haven't
found a bug.
