Bug Description
Binary package hint: dolphin
OS: Kubuntu/Ubuntu Karmic
dolphin version: 4:4.3.0-0ubuntu3
=======
A folder is mounted on:
/dev/sda7 on /mnt/WindowsD type fuseblk (rw,noexec,
I´d like to copy the contents of a DVD to this folder, by selecting all files from the auto-mounted DVD to /mnt/WindowsD/
Now I get following information, although the copy process itself WORKS.
"Could not change permissions for
/mnt/WindowsD/
Well, no wonder, since it is a NTFS.
=======
1) It would be nice that Dolphin does not complain on every file (only possibility right now ist to klick OK for 1Mio. times, since there ale a lot of files on the DVD or kill the Dolphin process.)
2) an ignore button has to be provided for further, similar informations, otherwise Dolphin is useless.
3) and/or checks for vfat/NTFS etc. and suppresses the info/error.
affects: | dolphin (Ubuntu) → kdebase (Ubuntu) |
Problem is with network folders too (copying from fish:// protocol). Very annoying...
