Can't select my proper icons in the entries of the left side

Open dolphin, go to the left side and select any entry, for example your Music forlder. Now select "edit", click on the default icon to change for another one. Now click in "another icons", click in browse...

Now, dolphin must open another tab or window so i can browse my files, but does not.

Now, close dolphin, and open again. Select the some "Music" folder, but now MINIMIZE the dolphin's "big window", letting only in the screen the small window of "select an icon". Now, to press browse, it works, but i can't select nothing.

El problema aparece al intentar cambiar el icono de una carpeta de la barra lateral izquierda de dolphin. Cuando presionamos en "editar" una entrada, por ejemplo nuestro directorio de Música, y presionamos sobre el icono por defecto de la carpeta, para luego seleccionar cualquier otro que tengamos guardado, al darle a "buscar", si hay por detrás cualquier otra instancia maximizada de Dolphin, no muestra la opción de búsqueda.
Si justo antes de darle a buscar, minimizamos dolphin, dejando solo en primer plano la ventana pequeña de búsqueda de icono, se abre correctamente la ventana nueva de búsqueda, pero NO me deja seleccionar nada.

Todo esto sucede solamente en la barra lateral, no sucediendo en los directorios "normales" que muestra dolphin.

The upstream bug was closed 'RESOLVED FIXED' on 2017-12-20.
I'm unable to confirm this using Kubuntu 24.04 and with no comment here
for over eight years I'm closing this as being fixed.
