Bug Description

When I resume from sleep, there is always a corrupted section of screen caused by the docky launcher. It's the same width as the launcher itself, and it goes away whenever I hover my mouse over the dock. It's as if there is a not well defined offset that isn't set right when the computer resumes from sleep.

To be more descriptive, the strip itself looks like static, but has sort of well defined vertical lines in terms of static density, and in some areas, I can even make out the text behind it. It almost looks as if the section of the strip that is readable is the default size of the launcher, before I've added a lot of different launchers. I'm using amd's 13.1 catalyst drivers, packaged myself for ubuntu/quantal. Everything else is stock, coming from ubuntus repos, with exception of LibreOffice and another utility.

I've attached three screenshots of what I've described. One is of the static strip when there is no mouse hovering, the second is the strip disappearing when hovering the mouse over the launcher, and the third is a shot of this screen where some text is visible behind the stip in some places, but not others.

I also want to add that logging out, and logging back in solves the problem. Adding some debugging info below:

I also want to add that this is affecting another system. Everything is the same as above, but I'm using an AMD APU instead of dedicated graphics. Could the problem be AMD related? Running fgrlx from the amd support website.
