Bug Description
Using the 4/15 i386 feisty daily desktop CD:
When I go to install dmraid on my system with a software/fake RAID array over a Jmicron JMB363 controller, synaptic hangs while installing the package. It says in the synaptic console:
Setting up dmraid (1.0.0.
* Setting up DMRAID devices
and it stays this way for at least 30 minutes.
I do see the device as:
/dev/mapper/
No partitions show up with a 1, 2, on the end, but gparted does see them. I am writing a separate bug on this.

This bug is know upstream. dmraid does not yet support the JMicron controller.
